Hodemedod’s

We love working with other local producers who are passionate about their ingredients, and the sourdough loaf we make for Hodmedod’s is made just for them. Hodmedod’s work with British farms to source a range of top quality ingredients – including pulses, grains and seeds.

Their loaf is made with a blend of wholegrain YQ and white flour, a porridge of their very own naked barley flakes and toasted wholegrain quinoa, all slow fermented with our Penny Bun Bakehouse sourdough starter. The mild sourdough flavour is complemented by the sweet maltiness of the naked barley, nutty depth of the YQ and the rich, earthy, tang of toasted quinoa. They are made to order, via the Hodmedod’s link below – and a selection of our other loaves are also available.
